54th Street Grill and Bar is a restaurant in San Antonio, Texas, that serves burgers, club sandwiches, Tex-Mex food, and barbeque style of food. While I was there at the 54th street off of loop 1604 near the Alamo Ranch area, I tried out their spicy chicken sandwich with ranch sauce on the bun. The sandwich came with bacon and lettuce on the bun and chicken. The fries were part of the side, but you can exchange the fires for a side of green beans, coleslaw, or any other sides that you want. The spicy chicken sandwich is a personal favorite of mine from that restaurant because of how spicy the chicken itself is, yet how cooling the ranch on top of the chicken is. It brings out a taste of spicy and cool to your mouth and stomach. Of course there are other sauces to choose from, if you want more spiciness to your sandwich, you can add buffalo sauce on your spicy chicken sandwich. What comes also comes with the sandwich is two slices of crispy and delicious jalapeno bacon on the sandwich. Also with monterey jack cheese on the chicken. The fries were delicious and they typically come out fresh and ready to serve at the restaurant, so you don’t have to worry much about them being cold and soft. 54th street is an excellent place to eat at because of how well cooked and tasteful their food is to many, so if you are ever in the mood to go to a bar and grill restaurant. This is the place to be.
