Pericos

San Antonio, Texas is well known for its many styles of mexican food and restaurants. One place that I would consider to many people if they want to go for some great mexican food is a restaurant name Pericos. I’ve been to Pericos many times before, and the one particular food I love form their is the Enchiladas de pollo special (Chicken and cheese enchiladas). Their enchiladas from there are awesome and great to have if you are an enchilada lover. The cheese is melted on top of the enchilada with the chicken inside of it. The enchiladas also come with the side of mexican rice and a choice of refried or charro beans (I typically go for the charro beans). The third side is a side of lettuce and sliced tomatoes. The Enchilada de pollo special is typically for the dinner side of the menu since it comes with three enchiladas and a third side.The lunch menu of it comes with two enchiladas and two sides to pick. Overall, the Enchiladas de pollo special truly lives up to its name of how special it is. Pericos as a whole is a great and fantastic mexican restaurant to go and eat to for lunch, dinner, and even for parties since they have a party room in the front.
