Welcome all vegan readers, it’s time for you to finally have a place to grab some lunch. Go Vegan San Antonio is a vegan food truck located at a truck hub called the block. Surrounded by mostly office buildings, there’s an almost uptight atmosphere. The girls running the truck seemed friendly enough however the wait took forever. With no one really talking to one another, there was nothing to do but sit and stare at our phones. All this being said, other then the wait, it’s nice to see a place catering to the vegan demographic.

I had the mac and cheese, nothing special but it was mothers day and I had a big dinner planned so I didn’t want to fill up. The mac and cheese, though, was amazing, if I didn’t know any better I would have never known it was vegan! I also had a gluten-free, lemon cupcake, because I couldn’t help myself, and again I was shocked. If everything on the menu was as quality as what I had then it was worth the price. The food truck also served vegan smoothies and shakes. These were a bit pricey but they looked pretty refreshing. My boyfriend tried one of the fruit smoothies and, maybe it was the texan hear talking but it was sweet and tasty. I can see why the people working in the surrounding office building make the track down to eat at the vegan food truck.
