Hello readers! I know everyone will like this review because we’re reviewing tacos! Ricky’s Taco Truck is another food truck located in a gas station parking lot however it’s also located next to a cute neighborhood, because of this the truck gives off strong community vibes. Despite this, there seems to be a bit of tension towards outsiders. When I first approached the window, the staff were standoffish, after a few icebreakers through the mood lightened in no time. They were great and you could tell they loved what they were doing. You can almost taste the passion they put into their food.
I got the five barbacoa mini tacos for $6. You can get regular sized tacos for $2.50 each but the mini tacos are better and more fun to share with a friend. Now, to be fair, barbacoa is one of my favorite dishes of all time but I can safely say this was good. You can choose between flour and corn tortillas so obviously I chose flower. You also have the options of tacos, quesadillas, and burritos. $2.50, $5.50, and $7.50 respectively. The burritos seemed extremely large so if you choose to tackle the beast, you’ll have your work cut out for you. Definitely a fun place to hang out at, the food was great and once you get past the surface, the people are amazing. Next time I plan on going with a group of friends. Trust me, with this location, the more the merrier.
